Angry New Categories, App Pool Reset?

    Hello,

This is an *extremely* ridiculous issue and we are very frustrated dealing with it...

Every time we add new categories we have to manually reset the app pool or wait hours until it is automatically reset before these categories are fully available for use in the admin program. We cannot see them to change their nesting under or above other categories, map products to them, etc., unless we actually reset the server app pool (not just hit the reset cache button).

This is frustrating because we have administrators who do NOT have IIS access to resetting the app pool, which I should think was a matter of course, who need to be able to get their work done in a timely manner, instead of waiting hours in between simple tasks.

Is this something we have configured improperly or is this somehow, someway, expected behavior (I can't imagine it is!!).

    Please respond... someone... anyone.

    Hello!

If you turn off your cache AppConfigs, then reset cache in the admin console, you should be good to go.
