Thread: StoreFront Hosting

Can someone recommend me good and solid hoster for StoreFront?
I do know that AspDotNetStorefront has hosting solution. I wrote them email about custom solution, since those listed on the web site are not sufficient.

Hoster must be dedicated an in no case sharing environment.

Our requirements are simple:
- We have close to 300k products
- Site is going to be really busy from day one
- There will be a lot of traffic
- There cant be no hiccups
- Our DB is close to 1GB, only with products in it (FTS inculded)

Dedicated server we already used was not sufficient:
We had:
- Dual Xeon 3.Ghz
- 4GB RAM
- SQL Server was 2005 (unknown deployment), allegedly it was not shared, but judging the performance indeed it was

StoreFront replied with their custom offer. In some segments is good in another is not sufficient. I need to decide what to do.

Meanwhile, I am trying to set up basic StoreFront instance on Amazon AWS.

Has anyone else done this before (AWS)??

StoreFront deployed on Amazon AWS with sucess.
