Thread: admin password not working

I use the first admin account that comes with the cart,
for some reason for the past 6 to 8 of months the password change by it self and i can't log in, I do have 2 other people with admin rights and they change the password for me in the past Its possible I create a new account for me and give it admin rights the problem now is that i get Insufficient Permission! errors all the time maybe because i have a admin rights account and not a super admin ?

I would do the following

Remove admin rights from the existing account
Get one of the other admins to reset the cache in admin
Create a new account with a password
Open up your SQL customer.dbo scroll to your newly created account and Change "Is Admin" value from 0 to 3
Close down your browser.
Open up a tab and visit login to your admin console ensuring you are using https
Reset cache

Thank yuo the problem is that we can't find that user on the admin site,
we have search there are 10728 registered customers and the super admin is not there
is there any other way to find it ?

how can i Open up the SQL customer.dbo or where can i find it ?

when you get to the customer area in admin, you can click at the top of the column on admin and it will sort accordingly with the super admin at the top.
