    Hello,

    I have managed server with:
    Duak Xeon 3.0ghz
    4GBRAM
    20GB DB
    300GB space

    Hardware wise it seems ok to run store with close to 300k products.

    But form the software side, things don't look so good:
    - IIS 6.0
    - MSSQL 2005

    I wonder could software give me headache in any way?

    Just to fill some more details, we are paying 600$ a month for this setup and DB server is not on the same machine. It is in the same DataCenter, but not on the same machine.

    DB server not being on the same machine, how does it impact speed?
