    Default Sign in and Add to cart not working IE

    We have a developement server with 9.2 on a Win 2003 R2 x64 box and everything works fine.

    Our production server is a dedicated 2008 R2 machine. After installation of 9.2, we cannot sign in as a customer/user or add to cart annonimously with IE9. Works fine with Firefox. Same results with the out-of-the-box software and our customized site.
    We can, however, add to cart and log in from the server itself.

    No SSL yet.

    I've gone through all the manual recommendations and searched through the forum to no avail.

    Any suggestions?

    Default It was IE Protected Mode

    A little more searching turned up IE's protected mode as the culprit. Turned it off and everything works as it should.

    Will this issue go away when we enable SSL and install the certificate on the server?
