    Default product.variantsindropdown.xml.config : Variants with different colors

    I have a multi-variant product being displayed with an unmodified product.variantsdropdown.xml.config.

    Color attributes may differ between variants.

    When a user changes variants, the color dropdown isn't updated.

    Would you consider this a bug? Do you have any recommendations to fix this?

    Default Color Variants

    I have found that if the attributes are not one-to-one on the variants, you have to set up multiple variants with their and then use the XML package = product.variantrightbar.xml.config - this gives you several variants with the attribute selectors that are unique to each variant.
