I have aspdotnetstorefront running on localhost I dont see the ASP.NET_SessionId cookie being set when I view the cookies on my browser. I have the security setting to low and privacy setting accept all cookies. As a result I think I m not able to login neither as a registered customer nor as admin. It keeps showing me the signin page (I have already followed the steps here it definetly not the issue.)

This same site is running on staging server and it sets the cookie and I can use the same credientials to login to the staging site. Can anyone please help me?
