Thread: Simple Customization of Vortx One Page Checkout (OPC)

Good afternoon all -

I wish to edit some basic items in the OPC by Vortx - things like change the shipping title ("Shipping methods") to "Choose Your Shipping Method" and the text on the Billing button from "Save" to "next".

Can anyone shed some light on where I can do this?

Almost all of the text that displays on the site (including on SmartOPC) comes from string resources. If you search the string resources in the admin console for the text you're wanting to change, you can find the relevant strings and change them.

There's also a trick described here that lets you show the string resource names so you can go straight to the ones you want. Just be careful to only use that on your staging site, you don't want to do that live.

Thanks Scott. That was the first thing I tried - but neither of the items I want to change (see above) are in string resources. I'm using 8.0.1.4.

Anyone point me to source file?
