Hi have about 3000 products in my website.
I want to map those products to New Categories.
Can I make a spreadsheet with two columns like
SKU and Category and Import it?
will this work?
is there any other work around?

Hi
I think there are a number of ways you could approach this...
1. Use the standard import spreadsheet (if you are able to populate it)
2. Write a new spreadsheet containing SKU and Category Names (even better: Product ID and Category IDs), then write a custom import module to process it
or (if you are careful and backup the database first)
3. Create a series of SQL statements that insert the new Product to Category Mappings and run these directly against the database

Sorry about that, the image was missing...you should be able to see the screenshot now.
Both are quite easy to use, but due to the nature of these add-ons, we cannot provide demos.
