    Default Anonymous customers created by search engine bot

    Our web site is getting indexed by Microsoft (confirmed by IP) very often. This in turn is creating tens of thousands of entries in our customer table. We were not watching and it grew to over 1.3 million at one point. This eventually affected the performance of the site and server. Is there a way to eliminate an anonymous customer from being created or do we just have to run the maintenance as often as needed?

    Is it indexing a certain page or creating a unique one each time?
