    Default Variant Product Names

I'm noticing that the Dotfeed will use the Product variant name instead of the Product Name to fill in the Product Title field in google base.
We mainly populate the Variant Name field with sizes or some other criteria. For Example:
Index Card Size Laminating Pouch would have variants named 3Mil,5Mil, 10Mil, etc.

In GoogleBase what happens is the instead of showing Index Card Size Laminating Pouches in the title we'll see "3Mil" or "10mil" as the product title.

Is there a rule we can use to combine Product Name and Variant Name to form the Title? eg: Index Card Size Laminating Pouch - 3 Mil; Index Card Size Laminating Pouche - 5Mil;....

At the same time a rule to just use the Product Name in cases where there are no variants.

Dotfeed by default is programmed to assume that the variant name is a full-name, and it’s probably more specific to the item (remember that this is breaking down to multiple variants and attributes, you can see here how dotfeed handles them), you can of course add a rule to do just that.

    i.e.
    Name: product + variant.jpg
Views: 83
Size: 10.7 KB

That says "If Product name matches ?* (anything-at-all, as long as it's not blank), then set Title = product name + variant name"

The {original} token sticks in the value of whatever you were matching on for that rule. Whereas, {current} sticks in the current value of title.

    Default Almost there.

You will need to add another condition to the first rule or all of your products without multiple variants will have double titles.

    Add the following

AND Variant Name Does Not Match

Leave the field blank, this way if you have a variant that is blank (a single product) it will not duplicate your product name.
