Unhappy ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT wont let me delete my images once they are loaded.

I'm looking at my product info and I select the tab images, I click on "Click here to delete the current image" and a pop-up message "Are you sure you want to delete this image?" YES/NO comes up. I select "YES" and a pop-up window, sized 300x300 comes up in my upper left corner and opens my asp website. This happens when I try to delete ANY of the images. I then tried to load a NEW image into the "Large" category and when I'm finished, I click update. My asp website now opens in the right frame. WTH??? I've tried nuking the product, removing the categories from my product in my AIMsi software. ...reload the product and WHAM!!! all three images are back again. I'm stumped.

Sounds like your permissions aren't set right on the {root}/images folder. If you can upload images in the first place then you have read/write access, but it sounds like you're missing the modify access that is needed for deleting/editing images once they're there.

Thanks Scott, It seems to be pics that are older. I can import a photo right now, and then remove it. But, if I try to do this with a pic I added a year ago say, during our version 7 period, it won't let me get rid of it. If I try to simply overwrite it, our website appears in the right frame of the Admin. New items I'm adding right now are no problem.

Default Found a way around this glitch.

Well, it's awkward, but I found a way around this glitch. If you load an image into the AIMsi interface in ActiveE, upload it, THEN remove it, it will clear the images from aspdotnetstorefront product. You can then then add new pics in the Admin site. Again, this seems to be a glitch on products added in version 7 only.
