    Default Authorize Net Help

I am trying to set up the payment gateway and we use Authorize.net I set the login and tran key based on what I got from Authorize.net. I changed the
PaymentGateway to say AUTHORIZENET and I tried to test it and I get the following error. (TESTMODE) The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the card is inactive.

I don't know what to do now. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Generally that means there's a mismatch between the live & test modes of your storefront and your Auth.net account. It looks like your storefront is in test mode, but the Auth.net account is set to live.

If you contact Auth.net's support folks, they can check the transaction logs and tell you for sure what happened, but it's most likely that. You could check that real quick in your Auth.net account.

I had the same problem. You need to setup a dev account to be able to run in test mode. Authorize.net did not make that clear at the time. Once I did that and entered the correct credentials in, no problems. http://developer.authorize.net/
