    Cool Where do you find featuredproducts.xml.config?

    Where do you find featuredproducts.xml.config??? I've been searching for it since I need to change it to "gridwithprices". It's driving me crazy. I've looked on the site and in my directories - nada.

    I've tried editing the featuredproducts as stated in the forum but I have none of these files or categories in AspDotNetStorefront ML 8.0.1.2/8.0.1.2 that I can see.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    You might be looking for:

    \xmlpackages\entity.featuredproducts.xml.config

    or

    \skins\skin_x\xmlpackages\entity.featuredproducts. xml.config

    Failed transactions emailed via trigger;

    Thanks, yeah, went searching there and saw nothing like that since the upgrade to version 8.

    Remote Skin 1/xml packages

    Remote /xml packages

    You got me where all the xml packages went; I never erased them?

    Thanks again!

    It's definitely there in a stock install, in {root}\XmlPackages. You might just try redownloading and re-extracing the files so you can grab a copy out of the original package, or contact support and we can send you that file.

    I am understanding your question differently than as it has been answered.

    Instead of featured products showing on your home page you would like to call the entity grid with prices xmlpackage? If so then in \XMLpackages\page.default.xml.config change the xml package call to call the other XML package... (however you may need to set a default category id on that package..)

    Default Featured product, different look.

    thanks for the reply. Actually, I want the Featured Products in the Hometopintro, but I want it to look like "gridwithprices" so I can have about 20 items on the front page; not 4 of them. I have been told that by editing the entity.featureditem.xml package this is possible, but for some reason, since my update to version 8, I'm missing a whole whack of packages.
