Default Facebook comments on product pages

Hello all, I'm having trouble with integrating the comments box. Right now I have a regular comment box that is the same on every product page, so therefore I do not need to have something notify me on when a particular page has changed due to a comment since every page is the same. However, I want to be able to know how to integrate a specific comment box on product page so I know what product they are inquiring about, and then I would like to know what specific product was commented on either via facebook or however it works. Currently I have this set up ...

    http://www.farralane.com/store/p-489...her-al6-m.aspx

And that comment box goes to everypage the same, I want to have different responses on different products on have their own unique values.

Someone have any idea on how to properly code that in my XML package, ? also I have a facebook business page I would like to link to that as well. thank you.

In your xmlpackage, you currently have something like this :-

    Code:
    <fb:comments href="http://www.farralane.com" num_posts="3"></fb:comments>

You need to modify the xmlpackage so it outputs something like this :-

    Code:
    <fb:comments href="http://www.farralane.com/store/p-4896-astera-20-wireless-wall-washer-al6-m.aspx" num_posts="3"></fb:comments>

Yes, but how can I do that to popular for every product individiually in the xml package? rather than that one product? Wouldn't I have to use the {pLink} value or soemthing?

Have a read over BFG's thread.

The same way he builds canonical links will be how you build the correct url for the comments.

Hopefully this should give you a good starting point.

I have been reading BFG's for an hour already and trying to do this myself attempting to call the xsl param to start stating the se name of the pLink value and it's still not working saying that http://www.farralane.com/store/%7B$pLink%7D is unreachable.

I'm tied up for the next day or so - but if you can post your xmlpackage here - I'll fix it for you - probably on Wednesday.
