    Default Inventory Question

I have a client who tracks inventory by size and color. They want there customers to be able to buy even though the inventory might be at zero. If it is at zero a message tells the customer that the product is on back order. Is this possible? Any help will do. Thanks. We are using ML9.0.1.3

    Question

    Hi,

Were you able to figure this out?

I need to indicate back order message in the shopping cart also.

Currently, an item can be added to the shopping cart even if stock is 0, but there is no indication that the item will be on back order.

Any suggestions on a good way to do this?

    Thanks,
