    Is there a way to get Related Products to work off of SKU numbers rather than Descriptions or Product ID?

    I don't know about that, but there's an easy way to get all your product ids in one place. If you export product prices it also exports product id, variant id, sku, etc.

    If I was doing this I'd write my own version of aspdnsf_GetCustomersRelatedProducts that found products related to SKU rather than just the productid.

    Then call this proc from relatedproducts.xml.config
