Thread: View customer shopping cart

We run into situations where some customers spend hours putting together a shopping cart and then aren't able to complete the checkout process. Some of these shopping carts contain hundreds of items.

When we do get a customer who either doesn't know what they're doing or has a real problem finishing the checkout process they usually call us and ask us to process the order in house. Most of the time they have no listing of the items they want to buy except for their shopping cart.

But I don't think there's a way to view customer shopping carts...?

We are a wholesaler; visitors to our site have to log into their account in order to add anything to their cart, so we don't need to view anon shopping carts.

Has anyone developed a way to be able to view customer shopping carts?

Or any other suggestions?

Go to the phone order page, search for that customer, click on use customer and then click on view cart. You should see their basket contents.

You probably want to make use of this thread to complete the order for the customer.

And you can also customise the admin app to show baskets like in the admin page, but we also wrote a Flash Builder app which shows the same in the second image.
