Do you avoid modifying your source to make it easy to apply future updates from AspDotNetStorefront? Are you not taking advantage of your full source license because you don't want to introduce conflicts between your code and future updates? Or, did you modify your source only to abandon the valuable updates that are provided by the vendor because you didn't want your modifications to be overwritten?

It seems that there is quite a bit of fear for business owners and developers alike to modify the source code because of updates and changes provided by AspDotNetStorefront. Their fear is based on the unknown difficulty of managing conflicts between their source changes and vendor changes. In this session, I will demonstrate how to use freely available source control and three-way merge tools to simplify the process and take away 95% of the pain, in a simple method called Vendor Branch Management.
