We seem to be experiencing more and more issues of the customer claiming item was stolen or not received. Items are shipped AND delivered and can be tracked the entire way. Customers aren't denying the item was delivered but are upset because item ended up vanishing off of porch or other location.

Shipments with values under a certain dollar amount do not require a signature by FedEx guidelines. However, when using FedEx.com to print shipping labels, they offer the option to require Direct or Adult Signature or none at all (default).

Even though we are not responsible and done everything we can do as a retailer, I'd like to ultimately put the choice of the signature options in the hands of the customers. What I'd like to do is incorporate the FedEx options in the check out process.

I would like ML8 to give the customer the option to require a Direct Signature (pulling from the FedEx site). Has anyone done this? I wonder if anyone else has experienced these issues and has overcome it.
