Thread: Force Capture

If you use SagePay and the deferred payment goes over 30 days you can not capture the payment. So we call them up and take payment again. However the back office has no way of performing a force capture.

Anyway we can create a force capture button?

What will happen when you click the 'Force Capture' button? Will it simply mark the order as 'CAPTURED' via an update query or there is a need to call the gateway?

Just mark it as captured. We just want it to act like a normal capture without communicating with the gateway (as it will fail).

Sure, you could do that if you have a source. The Fore Refund in view/manage orders page is very similar to what you want. Just mimic the same functionality, open orderframe.aspx/cs file.
