    Default Planning Storefront Installation

    Hello again. I'm planning on a AspDotNetStorefront installation and am looking at shared hosting with GoDaddy. I have a few questions.

    1. Any general experience using AspDotNetStorefront with GoDaddy?

    2. The MSSQL max size is 200MB. After the installation of the trail version, the database was roughly 14MB. Any guesses on how large the database would be after at +- 5000 products and then a years worth of orders on the range of 25000 per year and growing.

    I realize it would be tough to get an exact db size estimate and there are many variables in play, but I'm just looking for generalizations.

    Thanks again for the assistance.

    We've been usinf ASDNSF for 11months now and our db size is 176Mb. We have 2370 products and 9748 variants, with 2171 orders, 2275 registered customers. The size of the database will really grow depending on what you put in the ntext fields, such as product descriptions.

    Sounds like your 200Mb may be too restrictive.

    Hope this helps.

    Failed transactions emailed via trigger;
    Custom app to show basket contents when customer online;
    Orders pushed through to accounting systems.

    All the above without source!
