    Default UPS Freight Connection?

Has anyone developed RTshipping connection for UPS Freight to handle oversize products in 8012?

Seems only data UPS Freight requires to return rate is ship and deliv zips, weight, class plus a few switches for hazmat, residential, lift gate and COD. Cart products already have weight and dim's so adding freight class and hazmat Y/N would cover product info. Cart has configs to set size limits and if oversize offer call for quote or will call therefore able to trigger LTL ground or air freight offering. Customer specifies residential Y/N of ship to and can define if lift gate, or admin can specify always liftgate for residential. We also have COD payment option available in standard cart. Use existing Worldship negotiated rate account. No requirement to specify number of pallets, boxes on pallets etc. to get rate.

Does a basic integratiopn exist we can build on?

    Thanks

We have a similar problem that we worked around by adding a little custom code that will show a 'call for shipping' note when an object is to big or too heavy.

Have done the same however continue to seek automation as we integrate ASPDNSF with MS CRM and FishBowl. A couple of options at the following thread are interesting. FedEx and UOS also have integration experts on hand providing code to add to carts code, but that can get involved..
