Default Real Time Rates with exceptions

    Hi All,

We are currently running into the following situation with ASPDNSF UPS real time rates and we are looking for an 'out of the box' solution for it if possible:

Situation 1: Place 1 item in the cart that is under the UPS maximum size constraints, estimator returns a good rate, no problem. Place a 2nd item in the same cart that dimensionally exceeds UPS size constraints and the estimator returns the same rate, not correct. (BTW 'is shipped separately' is set to yes in variant for both items) Remove the 1st item, leaving the oversized item in the cart and the estimator returns the (You have selected an invalid address. No Shipping Methods Found.) message. Why is the estimator returning a ship rate when there is an oversized item in the cart?

Knowing that it is not possible to run 2 shipping tables at the same time is there a workaround to the following situation?

Customer enters in a UPS shippable (size) item into the cart, customer then enters in a dimensionally oversized item into the cart. Estimator returns a default message saying that 'this order contains an oversized item and will ship at a $115 nationwide rate' and the $115 is added to the cart total.

    Thanks in advance!

    What version are you on?

We've had released 9.0.1.3 Service Pack 1 which contains enormous fixes from known issues in the standard 9.0.1.3 build, if you're on that version you'll have to apply SP1 first. You can download it from MyLicenses page. You must generate a license key first, in case you haven't seen the download links there.
