Thread: Customer Level Discounts

I am using customer level discounts with a percentage off products site wide.
However, I'm trying to add physical gift cards and do not want discounts applied to this specific item. Is there anything built in to exclude a specific item from customer level discounts?

Set an Extended Price on that product (same price as the normal price), then make sure that the customer level is set to not give the discount on extended prices.

I am using extended pricing for "sales price".
Is there no method to turn off the customer level discount per item?

there's nothing built-in out of the box unless you unmapped the item to the customer level (Product page -> mappings tab).
