    Default Slow Loading Site

I am new to ADNSF. The store I am working on loads very slowly at inital start-up of the site but loads very fast after that. What is causing this and what are the solutions out there to stop this? Thanks for your help.

That's a .NET thing, not something with our software. .NET applications 'shut down' after they've sat idle for a while, and have to start back up the next time they're hit. Once they start up, they run fine until they're allowed to idle again.

If this site isn't getting enough traffic yet to stay 'awake' all the time, you can probably have your host set up what are called keep-alives to hit the site periodically and keep it active. Most hosts will do that.

Thanks. The http keep alive is already on by default in IIS. Are you talking about something else?
