Default Shipping by Weight & Zone + International

We have shipping by zone & weight enabled on our live site. This fails for all non-U.S. customers and does not present any option for them to continue checkout.

(They get the error message "You have selected an invalid state/province and country shipping address combination, or no shipping methods were found for your shipping address destination. Please contact us for assistance!")

As an interim solution, I enabled RTShipping.AllowLocalPickup = true and changed the label to "International (Non-U.S.)." At the first shipping screen, this allows non-U.S. customers to choose this option. After clicking "Select Shipping Method," "No Shipping Method Found. Contact Store Administrator" is returned.

Is there any way in ASPDNSF to enable a default shipping method if all else fails?

    Thanks.

    Default Zip Code Check Failure

    Also,...

When shipping by 'zone and weight' are selected, and a non-U.S. address in Germany has 60313 (Frankfurt a/m) as the postal code, the customer is allowed to select U.S. shipping methods. U.S.-only shipping methods have only the United States checked, not Germany.

When I switch the ship-to address to a Canadian location, say Vancouver BC V6C 0C3, then I get the "You have selected an invalid state/province and country shipping address combination, or no shipping methods were found for your shipping address destination. Please contact us for assistance!" error.

    Thanks.
