    We have V9.0.1.3. In the manual, the instruction is to insert some codes into template.ascx file. Should the file be template.master?

    Yes, in version 9 it goes in the template.master file. I don't get the impression anybody actually read the manual after doing the copy and paste from the version 8 manual.
