    Exclamation admin user level issue

    Hi,
to create a multiple admin user privileges,
i was told to create different Menu.xml's like, levelone.xml, leveltwo.xml
and upload those to admin skin folder
and for admin user in Notes enter levelone.xml to give him that menu privileges.

    But i notice a issue,

let's say i have a admin user, to whom i just gave options to add products and take phone order.

when he logs in with his username and password he only see those two options add products and enter phone order.

while he enter phone order, he has to select a user and if he reloads the page, then the magic appears, he see all menu options.

is there a way that we can restrict it.

    thanks

    Default

That is an excellent idea, and one we have been hoping for.

Is there a way you could share what the xml file might look like? I can give it a shot in v9 and see.

    Thanks!!

    Exclamation Sure

    in your admin/skin/skin1/menudata.xml

duplicate that file rename it to anything
    lets say newmenu.xml

and remove all the links that you don't want in that

and for the adminuser in notes just type newmenu.xml

and when that user logs in he will see only the options you gave in newmenu.xml
