    Default Gateway/Merchant Account Question

    We have a customer with an existing website. Can we use their existing gateway/merchant account for the new site as well (until we shut down the existing site)?

    I believe so, yes. Though some payment processor has 'Allowed IP' security feature, wherein you need to add the IP of your web server before you can place a successful transaction, but you could add multiple IPs there.
