Well, caraj, I enjoyed it, but then I'm probably biased since i presented it. I know that I will never ever please all of the people all of the time, and I have been both thanked and insulted about it. I apparently have a 'thick British accent". Some people need sending to the Tower of London for a beheading to remind them that we Brits don't have an accent. It's all of you that are foreigners <G>.
What I tried to do, (and succeeded in part, at least), was to remind us all that whether we are a store-owner, or a developer (in which case we are almost certainly a developer working on behalf of a store-owner), we need to be conscious of the ultimate goal - to build a source of online sales. I was talking largely about how I feel we can, as a community, use what we have got (a cart, a community of developers, lots of reusable code and bags of intelligence) to quickly build an eco-system with the cart at its center, but also with other "stuff" that we all need (dev resources, widgets, answers, forum, help, support, great code..) As new owners of the cart we want to build out a real "academy" using our combined skills and sharing the reward via a number of programs we are putting in place.
That's a lot of words. I would hate to think that I will dampen the freedom of people to be honest about my webinars just by me being around and listening. I find that you are all good people on this forum. If some of you want me to tell me to "do it differently"then please be kind, but be honest. I can take it, really I can. And I would welcome with open arms replies like "do another webinar but talk more about blah......" (or "do another webinar and be less English"!!).
