    Default Google Merchant Center Error

    Hi everyone.

We have a long time on the web store that is uploading products to google merchant center for the first time and running into a problem.

    Store is ML v8.0.0.0
    1000 products (approx)
Creating a Google Base format file

Getting this error message from Google:

    Missing required attribute: condition

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance for your help.

I think I just answered my own question. The feed being produced for this store is missing this XML element:

    <g:condition>New</g:condition>

FYI if anyone is having a similar problem.

Looks like you're missing an update that was released about a year ago for the GoogleBase feed. Google made an update to their feed to add <g:condition> attribute, which indicates the condition of the product (e.g. new, used, and refurbished). Contact support and we can send that over. Or, you can upgrade to at least ML8012.
