    Default referral field at checkout

    Does anyone have an easy method to add a "referred by" field either in account creation or during order checkout that does not entail having the source code?

    I want people to be able to type in (or it could be a drop down with several options) how they heard about my site/products

    I am using v9 ml

    Tell the customer to add referral into the notes section of the cart? You could do something very easy and just change the header graphic from NOTES to say Referral
