Thread: Increase Performance of Product Details Page

Hi,

Most of our customers complaint that the product details pages are rendering really slow. So we are in the process of increasing the performance of the Product Details page.

Below are some of the steps that we are going to implement. If you have any more suggestion please let us know.

1) Keeping the ProductView table with only 10 days worth of data, so that related products are shown quickly.
2) For the customer who also bought this suggestion, query the last 6 months of data.

Any more ideas??

Would be REALLY helpful to see a sample of your product details page so we can take a look at what kind of information you are loading.

What is your traffic like and what are your server specs / network connection
