Default local version has no images/styles

Hello. I just setup a local copy on my machine to test my upgrade. The site actually runs but there are no images or styles on the site? If i view the path of the image file it does exist in the correct directory.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm stupid. Here is the problem. When installing/setting up IIS I didn't verify that "Static Content" was checked.

Turn Windows features on or off >> Internet Information Services >> World Wide Web Services >> Common Http Features >> Static Content

    Problem solved.

Same here. I believe that the standard IIS install on Windows 7 'Turn Windows features on or off' does not set this by default! The installation instructions at http://manual.aspdotnetstorefront.co...windows-7.aspx also do not cover this.
