    Default Buy.com type shipping rules.

    Dear ASPDNS,

Does the new version of aspdotnetstorefront (9.0) have a way we can setup similar shipping rules to Buy.com (http://www.buy.com/corp/promos/freeshipping_051402.asp) without editing the .dll files?

    The functionality goes as follows:

We will need to have two types of "free shipping:"

    1. Applies free shipping to the item no matter what the price of the item is(icon1).

    2. Applies free shipping to the item if the minimum category order number is met (icon2.) (See custom shipping options below)

    3. The Minicart must be able to calculate the total number of items in each category and apply custom shipping rules based off the minimum order per category.

    Custom shipping options:

$25 min order of DVDs to qualify for free-shipping
$50 min order of Arts & Crafts to qualify for free-shipping
$75 min order of Electronics to qualify for free-shipping
$15 min order of Music CDs to qualify for free-shipping
$35 min order of Books to qualify for free-shipping
$75 min order of Apparel & Shoes to qualify for free-shipping
$50 min order of Video Games to qualify for free-shipping

    Thanks,
    Daniel

That would take some source code mods. You can set up a free shipping threshold, but it's applied globally across the store, you can't set different levels for each category.
