Default One Page Checkout w/ Gift Cards

    Hey all,

First a question: Why is one page checkout bypassed when the cart contains a gift card?

If it's possible, I want to mod the checkout process to allow this. I'll analyze the various pages involved, but are any of you familiar enough with the checkout flow to give me a quick rundown on which files and redirects I'd have to change?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kevin S.

That's an intended behavior. Gift Card, Gift Registry items, and account that has multiple shipping addresses are unable to use one-page checkout. Dev must have a valid reason for for doing that. If you want to really allow it up to you, it's just as simple as removing the !cart.ContainsGiftCard() condition in shippingcart.aspx.cs but I couldn't really tell the impact.
