    Hello,

    I would like to know detail overview of for the order processing and how it will work
    -- i.e. when an order is placed what should happen
    -- what are the other screens that will be affected
    -- what are the files/projects needs to be modified for order processing customization.

    what are the files/projects needs to be modified for order processing customization.
    ** depends on what customization you would do.

    There are 5 checkout pages involve, if you want to customize the look and feel of the checkout pages you'd look into these files:
    - Shoppingcart.aspx
    - CheckoutShipping.aspx
    - CheckoutPayment.aspx
    - CheckoutReview.aspx
    - OrderConfirmation.aspx
