    Default Multiple CC# hits despite failed order

    We have a customer who complained of trying unsuccessfully 3 times to checkout. The funny thing is, however, that despite an Order/Order # not being logged each time, her AMEX card was charged 3 consecutive times.

    Anybody experience that?

    The site is running ML 8 with Authorize.Net gateway.

    Can you see 3 charges in authorize.net or is the customer saying they were charged? If they failed due to AVS mismatch there would be 3 holds which would look like 3 charges to the customer.
