    Default Identical products from different distributors

    Hi,

    We are working with different distributors assume A, B, C and everyone supply us a same product with manufacturer part no xyz. As per standard each of them have different SKU's.

    We added them as individual products and we got the same manufacturer part no three times because they are from different distributors.

    Is there a way, to avoid showing all the 3 and just show up the product that has least price and when that is sold, the other one will show up.

    If assuming this as 3 different products is wrong, please suggest other options.

    I'm afraid there's no way to do that 'out of the box', however it could be done with some customization. A simple XML package with a custom query that pulled the 3 products and then compared price and inventory and showed the proper one would work.

    You would end up with a little 'cleanup' to do in other spots - search results, recently viewed products, etc - but nothing horrible.
