    Default Import Via Excel, Truncates at 255 characters

    My customer had an import tool created, which uploads products from an excel sheet into the DB. He's running into a problem when a cell contains more that 255 characters. This is a known issue from Microsoft as described here:

    Has anyone encountered this and perhaps have a workaround?

    What type of file are you importing?
    SQL 2008, Visual Studio 2010
    Source: C#
    Version: AspDotNetStorefront ML 8.0.1.1/8.0.1.1
    Framework: .Net 4.0 (Running)
