    Default Search Subcategories

    I am having a problem when using the seach feature it does not search subcategories unless an item is linked to that direct subcategory.

    Ex. Root Category=Hardware & Peripherals
    Subcategory of Hardware & Peripherals=Memory Notebook
    Subcategory of Memory Notebook=DDR3

    I have the product mapped to the DDR3 subcategory and not the others because I don't like how the products show up when you map them to the root and first subcategory.

    My problem is I want to be able to search memory and for it to pull up my item. I would think it should automatically because it is linked to one of its subcategories but it is not working.

    Does anyone have a solution on how to get this to work?
