    Default Coupons - do subcategories inherit?

    Running ML 7.1 if we want to set a coupon for a category that has no products in it BUT many subcategories ...
    1. do I need to also set the subcategories to accept the discount or will they inherit.
    2. If they do not inherit and the main category does not have any products just subcategories do I need to include the main category in the coupn set up?

    Coupons do not inherit.
    You don't need to add a parent cat, Coupon will apply to All Products in the entered categories.
