Default What are popular checkout providers? (redirects)

In order to move most (if not all?) of PCI issues from the ecomm website over to a 3rd party, what are popular 3rd party checkout providers? Are some more seamless than others?

i.e. user clicks checkout, and it redirects to another company to take the users credit card information etc.

PayPal and Google Checkout are the 2 biggies. If you're going to use a 'boomerang' payment method you probably want to use at least one of those, as everyone's heard of them. When you use services that people aren't familiar with, they're a lot more likely to get nervous and leave.

The others we support are a little less well-known, and several of them are 'regional' options - Ogone, 2Checkout, Worldpay Junior, & International Checkout. We've got plans to add Amazon Simplepay and Auth.net's SIM but there are no firm dates set for those yet.
