Thread: 9.0.1.2 and the old minicart

is there a way to make the old mini cart token or something like that work, the Ajax mini cart causes a lot of errors, every time we think we have it figured out it pops up another conflict. we would like to just put it in jquary like http://www.flirtcatalog.com did.

current errors:

if you add something to the cart the enter key no longer works for the search box (the button works but you cant just press enter)

if you comment out the search box on the search.aspx page (redundant if you have a search in your master page) the the cart stays in open status on that page.

It would take some customization to get the old minicart back, that's been removed entirely for the new AJAX component. Take a look at the ShoppingCart.DisplayMiniCart logic in the old build to get an idea of how to put that back in.

As for the current issues, we're aware there are a few little nagging things, hopefully they'll be taken care of soon.

i am working very hard not to make code changes so maybe it will be fixed in 9.0.1.3
