    Default V9.0.1.2 HomeTemplate

I had the 9.0.1.2 code all working and had everything tested locally. The HomeTemplate was set to hometemplate.master and was showing properly. When I moved this code base to my test server the hometemplate is not working, it shows the same template as all the other pages.

I understand template switching works differently, but this worked locally. Could an unlicensed install cause this? What i've done is I have my test server licensed as say foodev.com .. I still have that running testing some 8.0.1.2 stuff but installed another instance on another test domain I have foodev2.com. I understand its not licensed for that but im just trying to get it going, in a few weeks I can kill my 8.0.1.2 dev install and move this over but just curious if the license issue would be causing the template issue or if im missing something else.

    Thanks

Licensing might cause that, a lot of stuff is based on 'StoreID' info now, which can get a little off if the software isn't licensed. We've got several production sites running with that feature though (we use it ourselves actually on our live site) and it's been tested pretty thoroughly locally.

Make sure you actually uploaded the hometemplate file, that it's in the correct skin folder, and that the HomeTemplate AppConfig is set properly (needs to have .master in the filename). If you still can't figure out what's going on, let us know in support and we'll take a look.
