Thread: ShippingHandlingExtraFee - show on receipt

We are using the 'ShippingHandlingExtraFee' to add a $2.00 handling fee to each order. We understand that aspdnsf automatically add the $2.00 fee to the shipping fee. We had our developer add a note during the cart checkout that a $2 handling fee is added to each order.

We wanted to change the word 'shipping' on the customer's receipt to read 'shipping & handling' so the customer understands that the both of the fees are combined on the one line.

Where can we edit the customer receipt for this particular line?

What version are you using? That should be a string resource if you're on a recent version, probably notification.betareceipt.xml.config.36

Sorry, should have included my version info...am on 8.0.1.2...does this change anything?

Not sure I understand your response...can you clarify just a bit for me?

If you go into the string resource manager within the admin panel (Content -> String Resource Mgr) and search for 'notification.betareceipt.xml.config.36' that is the line responsible for "Shipping:" on the reciept. You can edit that and change it to 'Shipping and Handling:' to display as you'd like on the receipt.

Hey Mike...just a quick note to you...are there any plans to show these two fees on separate lines? From an accounting perspective, most businesses track the shipping fees and the handling fees separately...
