    How do we turn on the configuration option to drill down on the left side by product attribute? Like newegg does it...

    That site does not appear to be using the AspDotNetStorefront software, though you could accomplish this though some customization. This is not available out of the box.

    If your not a developer yourself I would recommend seeking out a developer here or one of our DevNet Partners.

    this is a customized search function that drills down from the parameters within your categories, products. You can look into SLI Systems or Nextopia, they both offer very similar "site search" functionality. it works by taking a product feed from your site then they will modify your search result page to a hosted page on theirs, the URL sometimes change to "search.domain.com". the user can't tell a difference.

    i've talked to SLI before but it did not justify the cost for us. try www.tirerack.com and do a search, i believe theirs use SLI.
