    Default Shipping discount

    If the shipping is set to a flat rate per product ordered how do you provide a discount on multiple products ordered? For example, if the flat rate is $40 for 1 item how do you make it $60 for 2 items?

    There are discounting mechanism options(e.g. customer level, coupon/giftcard, etc) in the software you can choose from, but the best option that's suited with this scenario you've described is the Quantity Discount, as it's designed for bulk purchasers or something like that.
