Thread: Allow only certified customers to purchase products

Our store has wearable items that can only be purchase by a certified professional. The certified customers have a certification number that will determine if they are certified.
My question, can ASPDNSF allow only certified customers to purchase certain products and what would I need to do to make this happen?

That's going to take a little bit of customization, but nothing too hard. You'll need to add a field to the registration page that allows those customers to enter their number, then just add a little check to the create account logic - if the number is correct, assign the customer to 'X' customer level. Then just set up customer level filtering so only those customers can get those products.
